Seminars
Seminar note: General event registration gives you entry to the summit. Seminar seating and resume-checking spots may be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise stated.
Arrive early, check in and start exploring the expo floor. You can meet exhibitors, ask questions and collect a grocery voucher (Coles or Woolworths) if you are one of the first 20 attendees. The first major prize draw is at 10:45 AM.
Meet our recruitment agency partner, who connects graduates with employers offering job opportunities and potential work visa sponsorship for eligible candidates. They are currently recruiting across IT, engineering, construction, trades, retail, hospitality and commercial cookery. Bring your resume for a complimentary eligibility assessment to find out whether you may be suitable for available roles and employer sponsorship opportunities.
Explore practical pathways to permanent residency with a Registered Migration Agent. Learn about your PR options, including employer sponsorship and skilled migration, and receive a free consultation with a migration consultant.
This seminar explores how Tasmania’s job market works, including the role of networking, community connections and the hidden job market. Participants will learn how to gain local experience, highlight transferable and overseas skills, and engage confidently with employers and the wider community despite language barriers. The session will also guide participants on using AI effectively and responsibly to strengthen job applications.
Hear directly from the Department of Home Affairs about Australia’s migration programs, visa processes and key considerations for international students, graduates and temporary residents.
After the 1:15 PM seminar, the Department of Home Affairs team will stay back until 3:00 PM so attendees can ask questions directly.
The expo floor closes at 3:00 PM. Use the final moments to follow up with exhibitors, collect contact details and check where post-event updates will be released.
